Melissa Cole is living proof that going green doesn’t equal a life of deprivation. As Miss Earth New York, Melissa manifests the ease and glamour of green living while promoting her platform Meatless Monday.

A New York based environmental and health awareness public television program, The Melissa Cole Show’s primary goal is to demonstrate that it doesn’t cost a lot to live in line with the planet. Melissa composts, recycles, bakes vegan treats and at the end of each episode, she dissects the latest hip hop mixtape in the popular segment Music Notes.

The Melissa Cole Show has quickly become an essential destination for indie and unsigned music arts in the New York area. Nyle, EdibleRed, The LaFontaines and Shinobi Ninja are only a few of the artists that have had music videos appear on the program.

Now in it’s third season, The Melissa Cole Show has been featured on MTV and IncreaseYourGreen.org. Today the program reaches more than 3 million viewers on Manhattan Neighborhood Network (MNN) and on Long Island Cablevision in New York. The show is also available for online viewing.
